International collaboration

The CSFT have very closed relation with IDB through Mr. William  T.  Powell, and Mr. Mark C. Cramer since1997.

Since year 2007, the CSFT has been sending almost 20 persons. The participants are comprises of High rank military officers and High level and well recognized private sectors from Thailand to attend Logtech Executive Program every year.

The result of the Logtech Executive course has been outstanding and benefit to Thai society. Today Thai Logtech Alumni are contributing their knowledge to improve and stimulate development mechanism to drive better development concept that applicable to Thai environment.

1993-2007 Over 200 projects had been supported by the CSFT:

  – Community Job Training:

  Job training for dress making

  Job training for art works making

  Job training for food processing, etc.

  – Afforestation in Chiangrai province to respond to Her Majesty initiation

  – Set up revolving fund in 25 villages in the Northeast

  – Set up mutual fund to support natural disaster victims in the effected areas

  – Fireworks exhibition to celebrate occasion of 60 years of accession to the throne  
– Fireworks exhibition to celebrate 80 years of His Majesty

2008

  – Sign Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Community Support Foundation Thailand and Association for Economic Cooperation and Trade Promotion Between Yunnan and Southeast and South Asia

2009

  – Sign a contract for international strategy partnership with the Association for Economic Cooperation and Trade Promotion Between Yunnan and Southeast and South Asia in relevance to industrial settlement, logistics and other trades beneficial to the people and country of both sides

At present the Community Support Foundation Thailand operates internal and external cooperation to respond to the Foundation objectives, especially objective no 3. This enables the Foundation’s policy to be successful and it is being pushed forward to implementation stage. The past activities were:

  1. Cooperate with relevant offices until Thailand Industrial Settlement and Yunnan Industrial Settlement signed a cooperative contract and looking forward to an establishment of Yunnan Industrial Settlement in Thailand.

  2. The Community Support Foundation Thailand awarded scholarship to generals and private sector administrators to attend training on logistics and technologies at Chapel Hill, the University of North Carolina for the past 3 years and will continue this assistance.

3. In connection with scholarship awarding and cooperation in logistics, the Community Support Foundation Thailand now has transportation alliance as association, confederation, union and company that are ready to absorb the coming of all kinds of goods by more than 1,000 trucks and more than 800 container loaders. Besides, there are companies capable of transporting very heavy and over size equipment included in the connection. Therefore, if the coordination leads to three sided contract signing, Thailand, Laos and China, for logistics operation and if contract can be transformed into implementation, every transportation route will be more smooth. And Khun Mung Kong Lu road will be and important economic route for Mekong region and life quality of the people of each country living along this a road can be raised up sustainably.


International Logistics Development Institute

The International Logistics Development Institute (ILDI) was established in 2011 under The Community Support Foundation Thailand (CSFT)

The objectives of ILDI:

•to co-operate, collaborate and to develop efficient logistics networks

•to promote cooperation and integration within the region and strengthen global partnerships

•to develop, formulate and recommend policies to GMS governments based on full understanding of regional logistics cooperation

•to promote trade, cross-border investments and technology transfer between regions.

•to provide the relevant training course to private, government agencies, NGO as well as logistics alliances in the GMS

The ILDI course:

1.   Logistics Management Responsive to  Disaster and Humanitarian Logistics   Management

Objective of the Course:

1) To convince the participants the importance of logistics management in immerging situation

2) To induce the Participants to apply knowledge from the course within responsible organization when disaster occurs

3) To disseminate logistics management knowledge in responding to disaster and assisting the disaster victims

4) To create network of relevant organizations to respond to disaster and assist the disaster victims, including prepare the victims to relieve the effect of the disaster
