CSFT Opening Day
The Community Support Foundation Thailand is a charitable organization Established in 1993, starting from the Private Sector Committee, the University Project to support project-based development work. Royal kindness from His Majesty the King Due to the royal idea, there is a supervision idea. To respond to the royal idea by developing a multi-purpose hall named “Sala Green Isaan” in that community to be used as a meeting room Vocational training for villagers in various provinces in the Northeast, totaling 112 locations.
In 1995, the Private Sector Committee was transformed into a The Community Support Foundation Thailand. It also maintains the objective of developing areas in the wilderness in various regions. and focusing on training for villagers in other projects such as reforestation projects area improvement local development Set up vocational training centers and provide vocational training for local people in many provinces across the region of Thailand.
Subsequently, in the year 1998, the Community Support Foundation Thailand was announced by the Ministry of Finance as a charitable organization No. 337, Issue 93, dated December 31, 1998, and designated the Community Support Foundation Thailand as a charitable organization according to Section 102 (1) (2) and Section 102 bis (1) (2) of the Excise Tax Act B.E. 2527 as amended by the Excise Tax Act (No. 2) B.E. 2534.
Originally, the Community Support Foundation Thailand was named in English as Private Sector Rural Development Foundation and was later changed to The Community Support Foundation Thailand on March 30, 1999.
And most recently, on December 16, 2022, the foundation has applied for registration of a change of name in Thai to mean it more generally impact to the country but it is still used in English as The Community Support Foundation, abbreviated as CSFT, in order to adjust in accordance with the mission and objectives of the foundation to benefit the public and better society.

On Behalf of Chairman of the Community Support Foundation Thailand, I am humbly proud that the Foundation is one component in supporting, developing and assisting people in far away and deficit villages under various projects of the Foundation. Such activities have been successful and raised people life standard and income including environment in the community. The Foundation is willing to raise up people life quality by rendering them opportunity, knowledge and experiences to open vision and alternative for various additional income that in turn will be beneficial for people life standard.
The Foundation was very proud and honored that it was assigned by the government to organize fireworks procession on auspicious occasions to 60 years accession to the throne and 80 years of his Majesty ceremonies to celebrate and demonstrated loyalty with Thai people
In addition, the Foundation has organized a project for rural job training and established revolving fund in several provinces in the Northeast, and pilot project for community mushroom culture and revolving fund in the community and Mosque Muhayiruen in Chumphon province. The Success of those projects has helped generating additional jobs and income and raised up sustainable life standard of the community.
The success of mentioned and not mentioned projects derived from support of various sources and volunteers. I would like to express my sincere than and admiration to Foundation administrators and staffs, and to all related persons for their hard work devoted to various projects until objectives of the foundation is attained.
